We’re all about creating fun, family-friendly moments that turn into lasting memories for our members and their guests.
Job Summary:
We’re on the lookout for a high-energy, people-loving Recreation Activities Coordinator to join our vibrant team. If you're someone who thrives on creativity, loves bringing people together, and enjoys working steps away from the ocean, this job is for you. You'll help us dream up and deliver awesome activities—from beach games and kids’ activities/crafts to sunset socials and themed parties—all while making sure every member/guest feels right at home. Plus, you'll support the Recreation Director and take the lead when needed to keep the fun going strong!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Make magic happen by planning and leading exciting activities like sandcastle contests, poolside games, craft sessions, fitness classes, and club-wide celebrations.
- Team up with the Recreation Director to bring fresh, creative programming ideas to life and help build a seasonal calendar full of can't-miss events.
- Step in and take charge when the Director is away, keeping the good times rolling and everything running smoothly.
- Work across departments to ensure events are seamless—from setup and music to refreshments and décor.
- Keep our recreation spaces organized, safe, and stocked with all the fun stuff.
- Be the friendly face members and guests remember—engaging with all ages, answering questions, and turning feedback into improvements.
- Train and supervise seasonal staff who share your passion for fun.
- Help spread the word about upcoming activities through signage, digital displays, and the club’s app or email communications.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Recreation, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field—or a background full of hands-on, high-energy experience.
- Someone who’s upbeat, creative, organized, and always thinking one step ahead.
- Experience in a private club, resort, or camp setting is a big plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills—you’re the kind of person people naturally want to follow.
- Comfortable working outdoors and always ready to roll up your sleeves.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak summer hours.
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified).
- Tech-savvy enough to manage calendars, basic event flyers, and member communication.
Why You’ll Love It Here:
- You’ll work on a beautiful island surrounded by nature and the sea.
- Every day is different—and filled with smiles, sunshine, and creativity.
- You’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive team that loves what they do.
You'll get to make a real impact on our members’ experience—especially the kids who will remember you for years to come
